The final tournament of the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 will be played in two stages: a group stage and a latter knockout stage. In the group stage, each and every team will be playing three games in a group of four, with the winners and runners-up from each group making their position in the knockout stage. In the knockout stage, as many as four teams will be competing in single-elimination matches, beginning with the semi-finals and ending with the final match of the tournament. However, the losing semi-finalist teams will play against each other for the third-place position.

FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 Venues - Stadiums

FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 Venues stadiums- As many as four cities will be serving as the venues for the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup 2. Importantly, all these four venues will be among the 12 used for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. It was on 8 October, 2015 when FIFA and Local Organising Committee agreed on the FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 Venues.
The venues of the Cup are however are namely Zenith Arena, Saint Petersburg, Kazan Arena, Kazan, Otkrytie Arena, Moscow, Fisht Olympic Stadium, Sochi, Zenit Arena, Saint Petersburg and Kazan Aena, Kazan. Importantly, the Kazan Arena in Kazon will be hosting the semi-final on 28thJune whereas the Krestovsky Stadium in Saint Petersburg will be hosting the final that is scheduled to be held on 2nd July.
